UVA or Vanderbilt Economics

<p>I'm currently a freshman at a top 25 LAC and I'm thinking about transferring. The school is just too small (<3000 students) and I want somewhere that will give me a true college experience. I'm debating UVA and Vanderbilt, but academically I'm unsure between the two because I want to major in business. UVA does have a great business program, but it's extremely competitive so id probably end up majoring in economics. Vanderbilt doesn't have business, so Id major in economics. Granted I am accepted at both schools, which would be the better option: try to get into the business program at UVA and major in Econ if I don't or just major in Econ at Vanderbilt? I'm OOS for uva so price is basically a wash.</p>
