UVA premed or Howard 6 year guarannted program

Im having a really hard time deciding either with going to

University of Virginia : premed
pros:
i like the area and students and overall quality
better school for undergrad

cons:
no scholarship
good enough grant for 1st year only of undergrad
years 2 through 4 money not guaranteed
not "guaranteed med program"/ way harder to get into med school

or

Howard 6 year guaranteed med program
pros:
scholarship: don't have to worry about money
guaranteed med
become a doctor in 6 years instead of 8

cons:
wont "fit in" at school
area isnt good
from what i've heard a lot of negative connotation to this school..

sooo any advice?

Let’s see, at one school, you may not be able to afford to attend past freshman year, while at the other school, you have a streamlined medical school admission and enough money to attend. Looks like one of the two will give you a much higher chance of becoming a physician, as opposed to a dropout who could not afford more than one year of college, bachelor’s degree graduate with large amounts of debt and no medical school acceptance, or physician with much greater debt than if you went to the other college.

Is it that hard a choice if your primary goal is to become a physician?

I’d post this question over at the medical school part of this website. There are probably people there who have some knowledge about the Howard U. School of Medicine.
