<p>You know me - Miss Impatient! I called at 11:00 this morning and my Mom said they haven't received the mail yet. Ugh! I HATE this waiting! Don't worry, I'll be sure to let all of you know, even if I'm really down in the dumps after I get the call. She said she wouldn't call me if nothing came from UVa.</p>

I have not posted before, but have been reading everyone's comments on the board to get a feel of when the letters were to be sent out. Today, I received my UVA admission letter to the college of Arts and Science. I just wanted everyone to know the first wave of letters have been sent out. good luck to everyone.</p>

<p>Congrats! Can you tell us what the letter actually said? Also, when did you submit your transfer app. Any stats, in-state...etc.</p>

I submitted my application Feb 15. They suggested that transfers submit no later than this date. </p>
<p>The letter actually states:
"It is with great pleasure that I write to inform you that you have been offered admission to the University of Virginia for the term beginning in August 2005 as a student in the College of Arts and Sciences.......To help with your transition to our University , the Dean of the College will contact you......</p>
<p>It's signed by the Dean of Admission, Greg W. Roberts.</p>
<p>I am a transfer (of course) from a virginia comm college. I have a 3.7 gpa, member of Phi Theta Kappa. I will be transfering as a third year. I have also been accepted to the College of William and Mary, and am probably going to attend there.</p>
<p>Congratulations Jenn! How many credits did you complete at the VACC? Also, where in Virginia was the letter of acceptance mailed to?</p>

<p>hey Jen, that's actually not true. I was confused because I thought I had seen about three dates for the deadline: Feb. 1st, 15th and March 1st. So, I called the admissions office and asked them to clear it up. I was told VERY explicitly that the only transfer application deadline to abide by was March 1st. However, your early submission may be the reason you got your decision already.</p>
