My three options are Rutgers (honors college)- full scholarship, Umich- partial scholarship, and UVA- dont know how much $. I cant decide. any thoughts?

UVa is a very special place and not that big for a public school. Weather is better than it is in Ann Arbor as well.

And its closer to your home. I vote UVa.

s217, Congratulations on your scholarships! I may be old fashioned and but with our economy in the state that it is (and unfortunately looking bleaker by the day), I would have a real hard time turning down a full ride to a great university like Rutgers or a partial scholarship to wonderful Michigan. UVA is a great school, too, but if money is a concern for your family (it is for ours so I kind of have a biased view on my opinion I guess) I could never recommend paying full OOS tuition to go there. Have you let UVA's FA office know of your other offers? Maybe they will reconsider and offer to match them.

If not, you have two great schools offering you a substantial amount of money. Go as inexpensively as you can to get your undergraduate degree. You won't regret it in 10-15 years, I promise you!
