Very solid list of extra curricullars, but the ones I have invested the most time in are:

  • Student Council (4 years, 2 of which as an executive member holding a marketing/PR position)
  • Employee at local restaurant (20 hours a week)
  • Weekly volunteer at the local food pantry
  • National Honor Society
  • WYSE Team (academic team where we compete by taking standardized tests)
  • Yearbook Copy Editor
  • Assistant Religious Education teacher for 1st graders at local church
    My Why UW essay was pretty solid and I included specific aspects that genuinely attract me to the school.

Hoping my strong grades, academic rigor, and my writing will help as I truly don’t feel confident with my ACT score.

I think you’re in good shape. ACT might be average for OOS, but that GPA is lovely.
