My dd was accepted into the UW College of Letters and Science. Her acceptance letter says “Intended Program: General Course - BS Degree”.
Does this imply that she is free to choose any BS major within the college?

If you are admitted to the College of Letters and Science, you are free to declare any major, subject to any admission pre-requisites, such as minimum grades in gateway courses etc. I don’t know what specific majors in L&S may have those entry requirements (my kid was History and Poli Sci which have no “entry” requirements to declare a major). I know Computer Science requires a “C” grade in a single CS course.
