UW Madison Fall 2022 Admissions - Class of 2026

From my experience with my child in 2020 who was deferred, everyone found out in same release at the end of March (and did get accepted!)

what day of the week do they typically release results? Monday/Friday?

I think it’s usually Friday but my gut thinks they really won’t release until the 31st based on how many applicants they got. They’d be giving up almost a week to review apps. to release this Friday. But what do I know?

I think I read somewhere that last year it was 4/2 so I wouldn’t be surprised if it is 4/1. :woman_shrugging:t4:

So curious if anyone has any updated insight as to when decisions will be announced? Possibly tomorrow? Or possibly March 31?

Looks like the SOAR tile has changed. Maybe tomorrow??

Mine just saying access to app is pending. How did yours change?

Read through the EA thread on 1/28 - it gives a good idea for those that were accepted.

If my soar tile says “you need to accept your offer of admission to access this,” was I admitted?

is it in the portal?

It’s not there by default, you need to search apps and add it to your UW home page.

Mine says that too but I asked another friend who applied and his says what it used to say that he doesn’t have access so I think it’s a good sign.

This happened to many people in the EA round
and it was a good sign

Hopefully. I remember seeing some early action applicants say it was a sign of acceptance. I’m sure you could find that in the EA thread.

mine says that too. does anyone know if this is a good sign?

are there people that didn’t have access to this tab that ended up getting in?

Mine was deferred EA and it still says access denied. Think others who were accepted had access back then.
