OOS (CA) Son accepted. 4.3 gpa, 4 yrs sports, no sat/act submitted, good ECs, undeclared major/exploratory. Deferred for ED in the fall.

My son also accepted in CS, OOS, top 3% of his class, SAT 1550, NMF, independent study in Data Science in 11th and 12th grade.

Happened to me too, but a few hours later I got my decision letter that said I was admitted.

Just got the email. Waitlist
Woke up this morning to a waitlist decision from UW Madison and an acceptance from Carnegie Mellon. OOS bio major. 1500 SAT, 95.5 average, IB diploma, good ECs. Not what we expected but all good as CMU was among his very top choices. Crazy times! and good luck to all in finding the right place for the next 4 yrs.

I mean there is no doubt I would take Carnegie Mellon! This has been a crazy year with Madison! Some of the top students getting rejected or waitlisted and then into some top tier schools! Congrats on CMU!

OOS, but reciprocal in state tuition(MN). Our HS usually sends a large amount of students to WI every year, to the extent that there is a rumour that there is a numbers cap.

My daughter directly into the Business School for Marketing. She also wants to do a double degree with the College of Human Ecology. Does anyone know if that is possible?
Has any international student received the decision? My DD received an email saying that decisions will be released in two batches and that the second batch will receive decision before 31st March.
Same for my son. He is international too.

I’m an international student and received my decision, but I think it’s because I got the full ride scholarship.

Yes, the results are out. My son just got an acceptance a few hours ago. Hooray!
