I got waitlisted, wonder is it hard to get out of waitlist of UW madison
At least around here(MN), yield protection appears to be a thing at WI. S2 reports that some exceptional students with 34-36 ACTs, 1550+ SAT’s and very rigorous course loads were WL’ed, while others with 28-33 ACT’s/TO and significantly lesser course rigor were accepted.
And no(and I hate to have to say this), not all of the high stats kids were Asian.
