uw.. OOS safety??

i'm only a rising junior, so everything isn't final for admissions yet.

..but, assuming i get a straight As next year, do you think UW would be a safety for me?

Alumni Relations: my sister went there for undergrad.

We used to live in seattle, but we moved when i was in 7th grade. my parents are thinking of moving back, so tuition would be as in-state, but not admissions. But, with my stats, do you think UW would be a safety?

I wouldn't say so. The only thing that's keeping you from it is simply your low GPA, but otherwise, I'd think you're a great candidate.

Personally, I think you'll get in, but I'd say it's more of a match just because UW is very GPA-conscious.

Low GPA? I disagree, the new method looks way beyond the GPA and yours is pretty high, not to mention the AP classes and the SAT scores. I see no reason why they wouldn't let you in, just write a smashing essay.

How do you get a 4.75 UC GPA? UC's only weight 8 courses total. So anything that high would be almost statistically impossible. Help me with this?

You look pretty competitive enough to get in. Good luck!
