Cant decide between UW or BU....any suggestions?

Raised and living in Seattle, though I don't know much about BU, I spent 5 years in Boston for grad school.

Don't know your academic interest so can't address that. But Seattle is a much younger city with a youthful feel. Microsoft, Amazon, Starbuck, Boeing. Skiing 45 minutes away. Mountains for hiking, camping, climbing. Water all around for sailing, rowing, diving. International with strong Asian ties. Fresh air, clean, mild winters and summers, less crowded, outgoing and friendly, jeans and t-shirts, hiking boots.

Boston has a tremendous sense of history with places and names familiar from childhood for most kids. Crowded, densely packed, impossible to find parking. Cold in winter, hot in summer. Competitive, sophisticated, formal, political, old money.

Hope this helps.

i'm in the exact same position.

i'm visiting BU in a week to help me decide.
