UW-Seattle Honors or University of Puget Sound?

and I actually saved 15k from only working two summers in a row, and I was only working part time. My internship at Kaiser Permanente actually pays a lot better than my summer jobs did as well.

and I have a small trust fund from grandparents for college that would cover 2 years of puget sounds tuition, but I was saving that for future expenses

Re: #39-#41

So what level of debt does this mean at each school?

But note that resident assistant jobs in dorms can be competitive, so you should not assume that you will get one. I.e. consider how the finances will be if you do not get such a job.

Re #37, spots for internships and opportunities are competitive everywhere; as for standing out enough, you were granted Honors at entrance and probably have an academic profile in the top 10% of the class. The Honors Program is around 225 freshmen (out of a freshman class of around 6,500). Whether or not you enroll in Honors, your selection indicates that the university believes you have the potential, if you earnestly and diligently apply yourself, to succeed at a very high level and become a significant member of the campus community, much like these students:

There are similarly successful students at all reputable colleges and universities throughout the United States (just visit their websites, and they will tell you!), and you should feel confident in your ability to join that group wherever you enroll. However, make sure the academic program and campus environment “fit” you well enough that you can maintain a positive outlook and a desire to do your best work.

Divide in 4 the total your parents can provide.
Add 1/4 trust fund, 1/2 savings, 5.5k federal loans, 1/2 to 3/4 expected earnings from your summer internship. Is UPS doable? Is UW doable?
If you’re $2,500 short, you can contact your admission rep at UPS and explain you got into UW Honors and really like UPS but are 2,500 short. You can only say that if 1)it’s true 2)that amount makes a difference 3)you’re ready to commit to the college that is willing to improve their financial aid package.
