Not I. Nothing has changed at all. The message is the same as it was after I applied.

@Cole52 Same. I took like 3 years off after high school to take care of my grandma and besides sometimes you just don’t know what you want to do right away. I honestly had no idea until I was 21 what I wanted to do. I feel like people have wasted so much money just going to college to go to college. Then they graduate and don’t know what to do with that degree they have or they change their mind. I can count so many people I went to high school that went to college right out of high school, have 4 year degrees and ended up doing some other type of college(trade, technical etc).
Oh cool! I’ll have to check that out. Yeah, it’s rare to find one that even teaches Korean. Obviously the most popular languages are Chinese, Japanese, German and French. When I saw the UW had my major, concentration, a study abroad program at SU I was pretty much sold. I’ve never been into the partying scene so theres no worries there. Where I’m from is like a secluded place in the NW, so theres nothing to do other than party(mostly to keep your sanity). So I’m pretty used to that atmosphere however I’d like to concentrate more academically.
@thunald I was actually emailed. Nothing changed for me in my port and I didn’t get a letter yet.
I do not think they have a rejection message online unfortunately. Haven’t heard about that.

Hi everyone, longtime lurker. I created an account specifically to let everyone know that my unofficial transcript loaded sometime between this morning and 2:30. I just want to say to those of you who haven’t gotten a response yet to keep hoping. My stats are not that good. I had around 90 credits and probably a 3.2 transfer GPA if not less since I wasn’t always the best student. I had great extra curriculars and wrote a strong essay about my vision in making a difference.
Before I get too verbose, I’m just going to say that have faith that the school will look at every aspect of your application and not just your grades. I was so afraid! Mind you, I have been acing past couple quarters and pulled my current GPA to a 3.58 so I think that helped.
For anyone curious, I am an atmospheric sciences major which is an open major.

Okay guys so I am feeling a bit worried. When my unofficial transcript uploaded today it said my major was pre- social sciences. When i was doing my application process for UW, the following question was asked:
First-Choice Major. Psychology Major Code:
Choose one statement about your first-choice major.
● In addition to this UW application, I am or will be submitting a separate departmental application for the quarter I selected in question Q-1 above.
● I am not applying directly to this major for the quarter I selected in question Q-1 above. I will be submitting a separate departmental application for
a future quarter, after enrolling at the UW.
● I selected an open major, which does not require a separate application. If admitted to the UW, I will be placed into this major.
I checked the first option which stated in addition to UW application i would submit a separate departmental application for the quarter i selected. However I was led to believe that I would only fill out the department application once i had gotten accepted to UW. Is that correct or did i mess up with my application process?
I am truly concerned please help!
You shouldn’t be worried. It probably had requirements that had to be completed at the UW in order to apply for the major.
