so when I initially applied to UW Tacoma, I applied for the writing studies program. I want to change it to history (but didnt because I didnt want to mess up my application or anything). Is it a big hassle after you’re admitted to change over?
That’s something you would need to talk to your academic adviser about. As long as there aren’t other prereq’s or requirements to get into the history major, I wouldn’t think it’d be a problem but either talk to your adviser or give them a call and ask.
Do you mind if I ask when you got the notice that you were admitted? I’m still waiting for mine, and trying to nail down a time frame. And are you a transfer or freshman?
@WorkingDAWG99 I am transfer. I applied on March 6th, and I got my acceptance today in the mail. Make sure that if it says ‘waiting on documents’ but you see that they SHOULD have everything that you contact and make sure everything is squared away. There was an issue with my transcripts and I contacted and fixed it on the 18th and the next day my status changed to that they mailed me out decision.
