I’m panicking LOTS right now. I don’t think that my application was the best (my extracurriculars/academics are great, but I’m not sure if my essays sounded fake) so I’m desperately hoping for an interview. I have to wait until January though ? Have any of you heard back from the USA committee?
Yes, I received notification from the USA national committee that I am a Davis Scholar Semifinalist and I would get my interview date soon. I was kinda surprised because I feel like my essays weren’t that good, but I really hope I can see you guys at UWC-USA in Feb!

I found out on the 20th that I made it to the Davis scholar semifinalist round too. I didn’t think my essays were the best either but I’m really hoping this interview round goes well. I’ve heard they ask questions on international affairs which is stressing me out a little 
I’m not sure how I should prepare for that other than studying a lot…

Hey guys! I’m applying through the USA National Committee and of course am also a semi finalist right now. I had my interview a few days and am now just waiting to hear! My top choices if I move on will probably be Bosnia, Italy, and Armenia.
Me too! I just had my interview on Thursday, and they told me we should be finding out the results around the 20th
