Are there any Earlham students that can comment on the presence of students from United World Colleges at Earlham? My daughter was just at Earlham for a Model UN conference and was interested in all the international students. She is a UWC applicant and wondered if any of Earlham's students were UWC graduates.

Daughter is at Earlham and loves it for all of the international students. In fact, most of her friends and international. BTW, she was working the model UN.

I know very little about the UWCs, but I believe that they teach IB? I can’t speak to UWC specifically, but IB does seem to be well-represented at Earlham. It makes sense because there are alot of similarities – teaching methods (critical thinking, seeing connections), emphasis on an international view, the importance of communicating well. It’s a natural fit.

Earlham has 14% international students, which makes it #6 among LACs according to USNWR.

My D is an Earlham grad. There are lots of UWC students there, some from the US and some from other countries. I think Earlham recruits from UWC. I have a vague memory that there are some UWC-specific financial aid opportunities at Earlham, but I could be wrong about that. Worth checking on, though.
