V.V Important question regarding TOEFL

<p>Here is some information regarding my profile.</p>

<p>SAT 1 - 2100/1440 CR-650, M-790, Writ-660</p>

<p>SAT 2 - Maths IIC - 800, Phy - 800, Chem - 730 (won't submit)</p>

<p>Class IX - 9.0/10 - nearly 85.5%</p>

<p>Class X - 9.2/10 - nearly 87.5%</p>

<p>Class XI - 75% (you have no idea how much tough 11th is in India)</p>

<p>Class XII - 84%</p>

<p>Essays - good - at-least a 8.5/10</p>

<p>Lot of Volunteer work at-least 300 hours.</p>

<p>Worked at my uncles (who's a doctor) clinic.</p>

<p>In my school's basketball team</p>

<p>So according to me I am a match for this school considering that I am an Indian citizen and permanent US resident.</p>

<p>Now, the problem is that my TOEFL is 99 but on Rice's site its clearly mentioned that minimum acceptable TOEFL is 100. So should i bother applying? I really am looking forward to this. The deadline is approaching. Please respond ASAP</p>

<p>Also, on their site its written that if you have had atleast 2 years of teaching in English Language then you are not required to submit TOEFL. This is for internationals only but i dont know whether i am an international or domestic applicant due to above mentioned condition. If i am an international then i wont submit my TOEFL as i have been studying in an English medium school since start of my school years.</p>
