If anybody could help me, I had a question about Penn’s dual degree Life Sciences and Management program. I looked at sample schedules on line and in some cases the students has to take up to 7 classes a semester. Now I know a dual degree is extra work, but this just doesn’t even seem possible. Can someone help me understand if it’s the norm to take 5 or 6 classes a semester, and 7 is just not that much more? At most colleges you take 4 classes a semester, and 5 is considered very difficult. I would think 7 is unfathomable.
Bump?
Yes, 7 classes is super hard at Penn. 4-5 is normal depending on the classes, 6 is intense, 7-8 is super duper hard, i have never hard of anyone taking above 8. Many dual degree people take some summer classes their freshman year and of course use their ap credits to place out of as many as classes as they can. That said, LSM people are arguably the smartest, most intense people at Penn, and there are quite a few who take 7 classes some semesters. LSM is super rough, it is not for the faint hearted.
Hm… For this sample it only has 5 semesters per semester. I found this on the Vagelos website.
Are you sure it was 7?
