Vagelos LSM

So to put it simply, I am very interested in doing a concentration at wharton but it would be cool to do life sciences at the same time.

I was wondering how difficult (percentages) it is to get into Vagelos?

I heard it was easier than M&T and Huntsman.

I also heard it was easier (percentages) than applying to Wharton straight up (this doesn't really make sense to me though so I was wondering if that's true)

I want to know bcuz i am pretty good at bio and other sciences so maybe it would help if i applied vagelos? (and by help I mean it would be easier to get in?)

Well, each class only has about 25 people. It's a pretty new program. I visited in spring and talked to a representative in the LSM office, and she told me the acceptance rate is somewhere around 10%. I don't think applying for Vagelos is going to help you get into Penn.

I was coveting LSM for months but ultimately decided it wasn't a great fit for me.

Do you have to major in Bio or other science in this program, or could you major in math?

^I think you have to major in a life science (bio, biochem, etc.)...hence the name, Life Science and Management.

Don't apply just to get into Wharton. Unless you are serious about studying/majoring in biology/science, you will regret it.
