<p>I don't know where my recovery cds are for my vaio and I desperately need to reboot and clear my computer. Does anyone know how to do this or know of a program I can get to do this (preferrably dl).

<p>i would try to find out what is harming your computer before reformatting it. </p>
<p>if your bios or registry is messed up, the computer could be in bad shape. </p>
<p>or, you can always try a system restore and then look into the problem later.</p>
<p>i would find out what is wrong with some google searches, then either remove the spyware/adware with adaware or mcafee or norton, or if necessary read up on how to remedy the situation and go into the DOS prompt and manually remove/quarantine the files</p>
<p>generally problems are not so severe that you have to reformat.</p>
<p>hmm... i wonder why you need to reformat... perhaps you need to change the websites you frequent. jkjk. just do what the eeepiyk said. often the problem is pretty common, such as a reg key error, ect. btw, you should really hit up on the tech forums for stuff like this.</p>
