Valedictorian

My school’s valedictorian is going to St. John’s. She’s nice, I guess, but a dishonest student who has never managed to avoid cheating on an exam in her life - that’s how she managed to out-compete the rest of her classmates.

I’m Valedictorian, and I’m going to Pomona (my dream school). I didn’t even apply to Ivies. We are not all cut-throat, career-driven elitists.

My son’s private school val is going to Yale; our public school’s val and sal are going to Brandeis and Tufts, respectively. Neither was admitted at the Ivies they applied to (as is generally the case at our public school).

I’m a Valedictorian at a public school and I’m going to Harvard. There are a lot of other people going to Ivies in my grade though. We have one Princeton, one Columbia, and 4 Cornells.

At my public school system’s high school, we don’t have valedictorians, we only have an elected “class speaker” who normally is…well…I hate to say it, but not too smart, yet popular. Our MS graduation was just like the hs one without the expensiveness…
