I have been kinda anxious about finding people with similar Christian values at Kenyon. I researched the site and all...I guess I was just wondering if anyone else has thought about that at all...That is the only anxiety I feel though...I am like super crazy excited about going to Kenyon this fall...and cannot wait to meet all you amazing people....

I know there are religious groups on campus, so I have no doubt that you'll be able to find some people with Christian values similar to your own. However, it won't be an overwhelming number of students.

There are many Christian activities at Kenyon. there are Catholic, Episcopal and Methodist services in Gambier, as well as a shuttle to the Vineyard church. Canterbury, the Episcopal youth group, is open to everyone (even if you aren't Episcopal) and every Tuesday night they have a dinner and discussion. It is always interesting and delicious-a great break from the dining hall! There is a Friday Night Fellowship service, and a group called Koinania that sponsors retreats and other open programming things. I would recommend the Freshman Bible Study group, as it is a great way to meet other people with similar values in your class, as well as some really great upperclassmen for leaders! Feel free to PM me if you have more questions!

I sent an email to the person in charge of campus ministries...and all my anxieties...are gone...now the only worry is how do I get "that" ...in my car...to Ohio...have a great summer
