I got the same thing with my waitlist page…
someone should call them ASAP - could it be that you are in and not waitlisted?
Yea- DD rejected from Northwestern, Rice and now Vandy . . . Tough pill to swallow. . . Lots of reflection on the “what if’s” . . . DD attends a Governors School for STEM and it’s hard when other students receive acceptance to these same schools. Hard not to compare yourself to others.
I got waitlisted and even accepted my spot on the waitlist… but right under it they included the text: “You’re in! Share the news with your friends, (Student) ! Be sure to include #VU2023 in your posts so @VanderbiltU can congratulate you!”
Did this happen to anyone else?
Accepted.

Blair applicant - waitlisted.

There is a letter - on the “application” page by application status there is a little pdf symbol on my portal with a letter about being waitlisted
@homerdog If you go to the “Application” section of the Portal, it should say “Waitlisted” on the right hand side of the screen next to “Status:”. From there, you can view a pdf of the decision letter.
@agfoes Thank you. He sees it now.
ACCEPTED! My mom and I are now hoarse from screaming for the past half hour. I had a 1550 SAT, 34 ACT, 4.7ish GPA, 9 APs (7 5s and 2 4s)- I’m taking 6 APs this year plus a senior thesis class and honors physics.
So, so, so happy to be part of Vanderbilt 2023!
LokiThor5, love the name btw, my daughter in same boat, rejected NW and Rice but did get waitlisted at Vandy – kind of a small victory after a series of tough “nos.” We have the extra stress of not having yet received final aid packages from two she got accepted to - keep getting assured they are coming soon, but it is stressful for sure.
And, like your D’s school, my daughter’s school is competitive and the kids in her grade happens to be extremely competitive and brilliant - she’s like, how can I compare and compete? But I am just trying to keep the faith and trust all the pieces will come together how they are “supposed” to.
sorry to be stupid but what is the CDS?

CDS is common data set. Just google the name of the school and “common data set”
@homerdog Vandy doesn’t list amount who were offered position on waitlist on CDS, nor the amount who accept a position.
Rejected. Knew this was coming, even though I had pretty decent stats (my stats are in results page). My heart is already set on Notre Dame anyways so this result barely affected me.
