Vanderbilt Economics vs. Berkeley Haas GMP

Which University option would you select if I want to pursue career in Management Consulting and why? Both Universities are out of state so the cost is more or less the same.

Berkeley GMP, assuming you are pursuing a consulting career in global issues. The curriculum is similar to the regular undergraduate Haas curriculum except your course emphasis will be more international and global related classes versus other students who would emphasize, for example, on finance or accounting courses… Anyway Haas is a renown undergraduate and graduate business school that is higher viewed by many consulting firms.

I meant highly viewed by many consulting firms and the Haas undergraduate business school is a top 5 or higher business school in the US.

Haas. Also, we have an insane amount fo management consulting clubs. Around 20 which all focus on different sectors of the economy and so on. They’re competitive to get into though.

I’m assuming you have not applied yet. It’s freshman admit (vs. applying to the regular Haas undergrad program in sophomore year) and extremely competitive to get in.
