Help me Obi Wan Kenobi you're my only hope

I have made a decision to accept one of these offers. I would like to see if you would have made the same selection. All four options are amazing and I feel so fortunate. I would like to pursue a career in management consulting. Which option would you have chosen and why?

1.University of Michigan Ross Business School I was selected as a preferred admit.

2.UCLA (Pre Business Economics).

3.UC Berkeley Haas Business School Global Management Program (GMP). Also, got the Regents Scholarship.

  1. Emory University (Pre Business) with the hope of transferring to the Goizueta Business School.

I would go to community college.

@CU123 Only if you join me :slight_smile:

@Itiznotfare
Although I’m very biased toward Emory. I would have to say UCB Haas since it seems like you already got in. But you should visit all 4 and see where you fit best.

UCB Haas. Good for you. You got into Haas freshman year. If you go, they give you a backpack and a patagonia jacket. The classes are comparatively easy. It’s just a whole lot of networking and you’re basically guaranteed a job when you graduate.

Regents means you get a scholarship, you choose your classes first, and you have first priority for on campus housing.
You’re automatically the top of the food chain at Berkeley (not that anyone would know unless you told them. That’s how Berkeley works. It’s big so that people only know what you tell them, when you tell them. Otherwise, they just know you.)

Haas, for the reasons stated above.

UCB Haas. I am a graduate of Haas. Berkeley is phenomenal - and at UCB Haas is the best of the best. You will have unparalleled opportunities through their alumni and net work. And you got the Regents scholarship… Good for you. The rest are great but you cannot walk away from this acceptance.

Haas for the Patagonia jacket! No, seriously, if you got Regents, I agree that you cannot walk away from this offer!

GMP No question. Haas as a freshman is the ultimate brass ring.

Does cost differ significantly, and does that matter?

Are you in-state for California? If so, then a UC is a bargain. If not, you will really have to compare $$. I think it would be between Michigan and Berkeley. If $$ isn’t an issue, go Haas - GMP is a relatively new program that admits freshmen in (normally would be applying near the end of your sophomore year to be admitted as a junior) and very exclusive. You have some great options - congrats!
