Solid, out of interest should the unspeakable happen. What other schools are you applying to?

If my dreams are crushed, I will most likely attend my flagship- UTK. They aren’t half bad at computer science and engineering. I will also try Duke and UA-Birmingham.

Hey, UTK is my backup too! Also, does anyone know how long it takes for ACT scores to reach Vanderbilt? I sent mine last Tuesday (Oct. 14).

I think it says a week on their website.

So…I just logged into the thing where you can see the status of your application and it definitely says everything but the fee waiver is missing. When they say it’ll take two business days, does that mean two after I first log in or what…? And my SAT scores are definitely sent b/c it says so on the college board site. So I am just worrying about nothing right?

Vandy is my top choice. Please chance me <a href=“ED 1 Chance Me - Vanderbilt University - College Confidential Forums”>ED 1 Chance Me - Vanderbilt University - College Confidential Forums;

@nerdfighter Don’t worry! The same thing happened to me and it took about 3 days AFTER my MyAppVu portal was set up for everything to show up. If the fee and the SAT scores are there than it is probably just taking time for the common app stuff to come over.

That’s a relief. My fee is the only thing showing up right now, but my scores should soon since I sent them almost a week ago.

@Suomi84 Oh hey everything except my scores are there now (: Who knows what’s up with that, but hopefully they’ll show up soon :-/

@nerdfighter23 how long ago did you send them? are they subject tests?

@Suomi84 I sent them on the 15th, and it’s just the normal SAT

I only have one paragraph done for the common app. I work 5 days a week so it’s so difficult finding time.

There’s only a week left. Find time!

@bemore19 Seriously, what @CollegePanda96 said! If you don’t have at least a draft now, you’re going to be cutting it really close. Do you have the rest of your application ready? Test scores and recommendations and everything?

@nerdfighter23 The SAT scores can take up to two weeks to arrive if you didn’t use rush delivery.

I had my interview today, so I am officially done with my application. Now comes the intense waiting. :-S

Speaking of SAT scores, I thought they took October scores for ED1? I am waiting on subject test scores, but if they are good enough to send, will they not be considered?

@Suomi84 Huh. That’s slightly ridiculous though, considering it’s just data that’s being sent. Even paper wouldn’t take that long. Haha oh well they should still get there in time even if it does take two weeks.

@Elizabeth1315 I’m pretty sure they’ll still take them, especially since you’ve already got the rest of your app in (: How’d the interview go??

@nerdfighter23 awesome! I guess I’ll decide what to do next Tuesday and go from there. My interview was pretty casual! It was her first time doing an alumni interview, so neither of us really knew what to expect. Although, she did mention that I seemed to be like her daughter who currently goes to Vanderbilt, so I’m hoping she thought I was a good fit!

@Elizabeth1315 wow that sounds pretty awesome (: Definitely some crazy waiting though. Not that I have a countdown going or anything, but there’s 52 days left ;)

Finalizing stuff for CommonApp- ahhh.
