@UMParent2015 it usually says “Early Decision 1 Decisions Available…” and then it says the date. Last year was the 11th so they posted the blog on the 10th

On the MyAppVU under “myappvu allows you to:” it says “View your admissions decision (after published response date for your decision plan)” so they post before they release though it could be on the same day they post like they’ve done for EDII in the past
They’re probably watching this thread rn just laughing at all the speculation. Decisions have almost undoubtedly already been made for everyone. With so many other top schools already releasing decisions, I can’t imagine them waiting until Thursday…Especially given that previous release dates seem to never actually be the 15th.

@jayusa8 they just have never waited until the 15th and in 2012 (last time 15th was on a Thursday) they posted the decisions on the 13th
Last night I had a dream that I got a crudely made, yet very cryptic 100 fold brochure from Vandy that had my addmissions decision in it. It was hidden in it, and it just said “Admitted?: No.” Not exactly a good omen :-S

@littlemiss126 - In 2012, December 15 was a Saturday. Decisions were released on Tuesday the 11th. Decisions were not posted on the website, they were mailed. http://admissions.vanderbilt.edu/vandybloggers/2012/12/early-decision-i-decision-letters-mailed/
@littlemiss126 that’s smart to look up the decision date the last time the 15th was a Thursday. Fingers crossed for Tuesday then!!!

Tuesday seems most likely rn for an early release, I doubt they’ll make a blog post on a day that the OUA is closed
