@em2106 my class only has 150 kids so top 10% is still pretty competitive because it’s only 15 people but i guess in bigger schools like yours it’s different
i’ve looked through vandy’s admission stats for the past few years and every year 99% of their freshman class was in the top 10% of their high school
That is only for highschools that rank tho, dont want that to be misleading… my highschools sends a good amount to vandy every year that arent in top 10, but we dont rank
That’s true for smaller schools it’s much more competitive
Yeah my school doesn’t rank either so I guess they just rely on GPA and test scores to reflect that
Ahhh I’m so nervous! What is a low act for the ed pool?
Awh man…I’m top 30%. My class size is over 500 though and my school is known to be extremely competitive…
They take that into account tho! @sumuzu
@hoppyhop also for ED 2020 the mid 50% was 33-34 so a 32 or lower I guess would be considered “low end”
Understand that their average ACT accepted is probably the same as their average ACT denied.
@purplecowlover2 what do you mean?
You’re kidding. I’m going to be sick.
^ Had a feeling that was fake. Turns out it was. Bummer.
@LexRex what happened?
Fake admissions account posted that decisions were up. Looks like the post is deleted now
I woke up with a strong feeling either a blog or decisions were posted but sadly nope
same^^
When I tried to check my portal on my phone I was directed to “Your Enrollment Services” with a message on the screen that said “You are not authorized to access this page.” Think that means anything??
