I think that they had the decisions made and the list checked and were ready to push the button and move forward so they could focus on RD. I’m a little surprised they are doing it this Friday as I thought if they did it this week, it would make future ED2 applicants have the expectation of decisions well in advance. I have reason to believe it’s going to be a record year for applications, so the RD round is going to take a little more time than in previous years. Good luck to you all!

Does Vandy request grades for ED2 applicants?
@CollegeKidd19 assuming you’re talking about midyear grades: they don’t consider them for admission unless you send them in
