Do you think there is a wave today or tomorrow
Hoping for today !!
Hoping for some waitlists to get in
Well did you apply to any safeties? These colleges all have acceptances of under 15%.
Who else hasnât heard anything?
Havent heard back as well
I also have not heard back!
I feel like if theyâre getting an idea of how many are committing then theyâd pull waitlists tom. Technically matriculations can be paid today if I understand that correctly
why do you guys think they would start accepting waitlisted applicants before they have sent out all the decisions and evaluated the rest of the transfer pool? Genuinly curious, Iâd love to hear back soon but I donât think thatâs how being waitlisted works
Iike there are a ton of people who have not received any decisions,
I have crunched the numbers. On this forum 15 waitlists
I preface this by saying I am not telling you that you wonât get in. I have done a ton of reading from past forums and the people that hear very late are usually not accepted. I am just speculating this is the second wave (the waitlists that just came through). I could be very well wrong. Iâm just hypothesizing that, if this wave of waitlists was the second wave, in the history of forums, the waves that follow the second one are usually rejections. There was one exception; this one person was admitted after hearing everyone else was rejected but it was just that one person admitted very late in the summer.
There was also a lot more acceptances in the second wave last year wasnât there?
Looking at last yearâs thread, there seemed to be another wave of acceptances around May 24th.
I definitely think there was another wave of acceptances. I thought it was in the second wave (half waitlists and half acceptances).
when did people in prior years start getting off the waitlist
^also wondering the same
I hardly remember seeing anyone get off the waitlist. With this many people, though, they have to be drawing a lot of people from the waitlist.
I agree. Also, waitlists in previous years come out later. Do you agree that waitlist decisions have come out earlier this year? Perhaps it could mean they are gonna consider more waitlists
