Congrats!!!
When did you submit the fafsa and css?
bruh which school did u apply to? like Coe or the college?
I think fafsa before priority but css kind of late. I would 100% call because that does not seem correct that they gave you no aid.
I applied to CAS-econ and history major
Yeah Iām confused bc even at Colgate I got 24k a year in grants, and Vanderbiltās aid is like #2 in the countryā¦
Congratulations!!
Thank you so much!!! We will see if they will change my aid, because if not, Iām off to UNC
You should be so happy about UNC bc nothing beats great FA at a top school :))) Congrats!
I hope they do! So odd thatās it different than your other schools. Fingers crossed for you but both are great so either way youāre attending an amazing school!
I honestly had a little cry sesh earlier when I saw it, but I hope theyāre going to be understanding tomorrow
Congratulations! Still waiting on my decisionā¦ very strange isnāt it? So many people with the same major and same college as me yet I still donāt have a result (;_;).
Declined my spot! I hope one of you can enjoy Vandy. I was honestly super disappointed with how both admissions and financial aid treated me, so I will be going to UNC!
So sorry to hear that! Very disappointing! Wishing you wonderful success at UNC!
No, itās fine! I am honestly slightly relieved. Itās great that I got in, but at UNC, I donāt have to worry about the impeding costs. I havenāt heard back from my last school (Swarthmore), so things could change, but I am planning on Chapel Hill. You guys are all super talented, and take it from me: this does not define your worth. These past 24 hours have absolutely drained me.
Same here. Already got into a school and even if they accept me ā¦ honestly could care less ā¦ they took way too long.
Got waitlisted on the 20th, am I right to say the consensus here is that the waitlist is a soft rejection, or am I understanding wrong? Seems like a lot of people are getting waitlisted and from what I can tell the waitlist seems much bigger than my other WLs.
I agree with your assessment. Vanderbilt has been the outlier in terms of their transfer admissions. Poor communication from day 1.
I would just plan on going to another school. My AO said decisions are still going to be coming out in the next few weeks. If you get off, you get off.
