Help! I cannot decide between Vandy, Georgetown and Wesleyan, altho I think it is narrowing down to Vandy amd GU. Anyone out there ever have to decide between these schools? Insight from current students? Anything! I'm from the Northeast but hate the cold.

All 3 of your choices are quite different from each other. Vanderbilt has that southern feel, although the student body completely represents all parts of the country. There are many northeasterners there. The political vibe is definitely split about 50/50, which is nice for both sides. The campus very much feels like one and the having SEC sports is a great addition. Georgetown is a lot about the location and amenities of being near DC. Not as much of a “campus”. Wesleyan is a very liberal northeastern school - probably the one you know the most about.

Really, no one can answer this for you. Go and visit WHILE STUDENTS ARE THERE!

Vandy if you hate the cold!

Can’t really go wrong with either of these schools, however.
