can someone tell me the pros and cons of each? thanks!

this is not a specific enough question to get a dialogue going. Are you actually admitted to these three schools? Soon this sort of post will be common as people must choose.

I assume that you are in high school trying to decide if you want to matriculate to Cornell with the class of 2016? If so, I suggest, with all respect, that you end use of this screen name and come up with a name that leaves Possiblity Open. The Possibility that you might go elsewhere and might wish to chat with parents and students about other colleges. An ED application to Cornell does work out well for some…I have a neighbor on cloud nine who got into Cornell ED this year and starts in August.
It would be best if you posed more specific questions and you could project which school you would apply to attend. Vanderbilt undergrad is four colleges and you apply to one of them. Each of the above colleges has top billing in different ways. Hopkins is number one in the nation in biomedical engineering and nearly top ranked in International relations fields for starters. Cornell has top billing in other areas. Vanderbilt has a fabulous teaching Hospital and a fabulous location for many fields including business, teaching, prelaw and premed.
if you are just beginning…post more specific questions and good luck as you find your way.

Yes, what Faline said.

If you are a hs junior, make an attempt to visit all three. If you are thinking about pre-med (I think you are) then ask questions about how the presence of a medical center on campus (yes at JHU and Vandy, no at Cornell) affects your ability to do job shadowing, internships, etc.

Try to determine if you want to be in a city, out in the country, or don’t care.
