<p>ok so in my senior year i will apply to one of these ED. im not sure that i can get into any of these RD, but i think i stand a chance for ED. can someone tell me the pros and cons of each of these schools? and btw, i wanna major in biology. i want to be a surgeon</p>
<p>they are all great schools with outstanding biology-related majors. you won’t have less chance of success no matter which one of these three you choose to apply. the question becomes more like which style you prefer and which one fits you more. personally i would recommend you to take campus visits if possible to figure out in which one you feel like home.</p>
<p>My sense is that of the three, JHU is the toughest on the GPA - an issue for med school admission. I could be wrong.</p>
<p>Vanderbilt is probably the most “nurturing” one of the three.</p>
<p>They are very different schools in many ways. Visit if you can. It is very important not to apply ED unless you absolutely sure that the school is your first choice.</p>
<p>^^^I agree. I wouldn’t do ED with any of them without visiting. There are some differences among them that might, or might not, be significant, depending on how adaptable and flexible you are.</p>
<p>In the case of Cornell, you also need to give serious consideration to which school within the university you would like to apply to. (You must choose one, and you are also allowed a second choice.) Students can prepare for medical school while being in any of several colleges at Cornell, each of which is very different in terms of curriculum, majors, and atmosphere.</p>
