Vandy, Hopkins, and Brown oh my!

Hey Guys!
I have applied to 12 colleges and was wondering my chances at my reach/match schools. I’ve already been accepted to Mount St. Mary’s, Washington College, and Pitt. So I do have back up schools.

I’m wondering about Brown, Vandy, Hopkins, Wake Forest, and Maryland (in-state and applied with priority deadline).

Stats:

Lots of honor classes, highest courses offered
Honor Roll every quarter

ECs:
JV Tennis: 9, 10, 11, 12 (I was co-captain during junior year and played 1st singles both junior and senior year)
Volunteering with adults with disabilities: 10, 11, 12 (this is every Sunday during the school year and then on wednesdays during the summer)

Environmental Science Summer Internship: 10 (3 weeks spent performing biota surveys, self-designing an experiment based on the results, executing said experiment, and then writing formal research paper disclosing results)

Internship shadowing an internal medicine physician: 12 (2 weeks during the summer, learned how to read EKGs, take blood pressure, listen to heart and lungs, etc.)

USTA Junior Team Tennis: 11 (10 weeks spent practicing on intermediate team, quite competitive)

Science National Honor Society: 11, 12

Rho Kappa: 11, 12

Sigma Tau Delta: 12

Essay and Recs:

I think my common app essay was quite good and disclosed a bit about my life and how my childhood has shaped me into the person I am today due to medical condition of family member --> interest in medicine

My supplements I think were solid.

Recommendations should be good. I have a solid relationship with both teachers and my counselor.

Thank you so much! Best of luck to the class of 2015 and transfers!

Scale: Safety, Low Match, Match, High Match, Low Reach, Reach

Brown: Reach
Vanderbilt: Reach
Johns Hopkins: Reach
Maryland: Which one…?

Your statistics and extra curriculars are typical for an average admit. These are extremely selective schools. Your admission will depend heavily on your essays and recommendations. Best of luck.

Thank you! I was referring to College Park.

You are on the cusp of Vandy and Hopkins, however Brown is going to be sort of a long reach.
