Vassar - a party school?

Does anyone know if Vassar is considered a party school? I was wondering because I know it got number 1 for happiest students - does that mean party happy or what? If it is.....ugh, I'm not much of a party person. Probably the only one here.....haha.

Umm negative. Not a party school in the frat party sense of the word by any means. Late night convos with friends and a bit of reefer may describe things better.

hahahahahhahah

not at all. so you won't have any problems NOT partying. i used to live 5 minutes away from there, so i knew a few people there, and they agree about the whole [lack of] party atmosphere.

p.s. some people are very strange there.....

haha strange in what way? i can only imagine...

bumpppppppppppp.......

lol weird.. I always saw Vassar as a party school. in fact, my interviewer asked me how I felt about the party scene. she said the school asks interviewers to ask this question so new students are freaked out that a party scene exists...

on a random note, has anyone else heard that Vassar has a student-produced porn mag called "Squirm"? that's something pretty strange..

one of my friends just visited....i should ask her too.

When I visited there was puke everywhere both mornings. I partied pretty hard when I was there and had a good time. My problem with the school is that because Poughkeepsie is so isolated there is nothing to do other than drink and even though I party hard, I get bored when there is nothing else to do.

I can usually find something to do in any situation, so it might not be a problem for me. Puke everywhere is disgusting.

Yeah it was absolutely disgusting. My friend Collin, who is a year older, had the reaction when he visited.
