How do the two schools rank up in terms of academics? I'm particularly interested in English, Humanities, and French.

Don't know about academics.

Please visit Wesleyan. The campus really turned me off... Vassar was much nicer, imo.

Yeah, Wesleyan's campus was kind of... round and flat. I dunno what to say about it, actually, it was kind of plain and not very appealing.

Never visited Vassar, though.

At Wesleyan, the traditional Autumn football games are played on a field in the center of campus; so, yea, that would explain the round, flat thingie with all the old buildings around it.:p

youre just sad because your campus is round and flat.

Curses! You saw through me!

vassar > wesleyan. vassar is a really tight community and it has one of the prettiest campuses in the U.S. I got a weird vibe at Wesleyan, and didn't feel like it was a community type of school. I really disliked it.

Wesleyan contains many different communities; it's much more self-conciously a university than Vassar, even though there are only a few hundred students difference between them.

My two cents worth: Vassar was far nicer both visually and in social personality. All of our crew who visited both schools last June voted Vassar far higher than Wesleyan for all non academic qualities.
