***VCU GMED Thread 2010***

I thought it'd be nice for current applicants to talk about their experience with VCU GMED this year.

I live in VA, and I've wanted to do this for many, many years, but I fear my stats aren't that brilliant.

When do you guys think we will hear back about interviews and such?

And for current applicants, is this your #1, or are you into some other GMED/BSMD Program?

Care to share your stats pakistani?

Sure, this is just a brief “Numbers” thing, but if you want to look at my EC’s and stuff, I’ve made chance threads and stuff before

Class rank: 13/590

I have taken 10 AP’s six 5’s and four 4’s

W: 4.01
UW: 3.62 (Worst part of my app)
SAT’s
2250

SAT II’s
Bio, Math I, and Chemistry are all 800’s
Math II and Physics - 780

And I’m an in-state applicant.

Care to share your stats?
When do you think we will hear back?

VCU doesn’t seem to be getting much attention this year :(

It’s after the interviews, I think, that the threads will start getting active.

so who ended up getting interviews? my stats were lower, but i did. what do they mainly look at and how do they cut out people?

I got the email today… is it okay if we didn’t accept the honors college admission yet? On the letter I got it said you need to accept within 3 weeks (it’s been more than 3 weeks now), but on the interview email it says just accept it before the interview. Any help?

I don’t think it matters if you already have not accepted the admission yet. Just go ahead and do it now.
Thispakistani, did you get an interview?
