<p>No, just send in the verification form and they will match it up to the taxes that they already have. The probably sent you the verification sheet later because FAFSA just notified them that you were selected for verification.</p>

<p>Yes, some colleges wait until you put down a tuition deposit with them before they ask for it.</p>

No, not necessarily. Schools are required to verify 30% of their FAFSAs. They can choose who to verify. One school may choose to verify you, another may not. Even if your EFC has a * by it on your SAR that does not mean a particular schools will select you. According to the financial aid officers that post on CC you should always wait until a school requests verification documentation before you send it.</p>
