Does everything (official test scores, teacher recommendations, secondary school report) have to be in by December 15 (or December 1 for the ideal deadline) or is it just Parts 1 and 2 of the application? Because I'm taking the SAT IIs on December 4...so that would already go over the perscribed deadline.

no it's ok for SATs to reach later...that's why they have the column that asks you if you will be taking them at a later date...actually i think feb. 1st is the deadline...but everything else has to be postmarked by dec. 15th!

o darn...i know everything will be in except for one of my teacher recommendations because my teacher just had surgery. our economics class is definitely suffering without him and the sub literally told us that 'seniors suck' from his experiences with us. and now...my application might not be finished in time!

so let me clear this up: if i took the SAT1 oct and nov, and haven't reported both scores yet, is it okay to report it after the deadline since i'll be taking SAT2s this december?

December 15 is the postmarked deadline, so not everything has to be IN by that date, although they need to be postmarked by that date. Ideally, they want all parts of the application (including recs and score reports) by that deadline. However, I think if you're one or two days over the deadline, it shouldn't be a problem, but I'm not too sure about this (don't go TOO far over the deadline...)

December 4 is the last test administration for the SAT that will be considered. So if you mark Stanford as one of the recipients of your scores, it'll be in time.

If you scroll down to the third page, it lists the test dates that will be in time for consideration of your application.

Well, I have taken the SAT1 october and november tests, but I have reported them. Is that okay since I will be sending the scores after taking SAT2 in december anyway?
