Very confused/Slightly freaking out

So... I logged onto my Gibson account today, just for the hell of it (because by now I had trained myself to believe that every time I log on, it will say the same tired "Your decision is pending" message). But instead of seeing the "decision pending" message, there's... nothing. Underneath "Application Status", it's just a blank space and another Tulane Youtube video. Can anyone please explain to me what is going on? Does this basically mean I wasn't accepted, and the people at Tulane's admissions office just don't want to break the sad news to me yet?

I highly doubt that is what it means. Sometimes, especially this time of year, they probably do a lot of system maintenance and syncing of databases or whatever. It is likely just an artifact, just hang tight. If it isn’t cleared up by Tuesday, write your admissions counselor.

I agree with Fallenchemist. I talked with a financial aid person the other day who said that financial aid decisions would start rolling out on March 1 (Tuesday). It could just be they are getting the system ready to show the financial aid stuff and they don’t have it completely done yet.

The exact thing happened to me! What does it mean!?

Same here!! It’s making me really nervous. I wish they’d put a decision there already!

Well, at least it’s nice to know I’m not the only one!

any news/updates? having the same problem…

Probably a glitch in the system which, since it is the weekend, won’t be resolved until Monday. Like I said, if it isn’t fixed by late afternoon Tuesday, e-mail your admissions counselor. But given that a few of you are reporting the same issue, it is almost no doubt just an update malfunction. IT will undoubtedly fix it Monday. Well, most likely anyway.

Dont’ worry this happened last year also. It returned to normal after a few days.
