I have asked this on other posts...but I have decided to make one just for it...please I really don't know what to do?

I am currently in 3 APs and will take 3-4 next year. 2/3 of my AP I think I did fine, but on my Spanish AP I think I got a 1/2 (and to make it worse I have an A- in the class, which looks like inflation.) However, my school has a policy where I can decide to change the class I have been taking from AP to IV (only I would have done harder work for a lower class). And then I could just take the AP next year, without fear of being judged by colleges. Should I or should I not lower my class level, or should I just keep the score and send/not send it. Thanks

Just keep the score and not send it. It really is no big deal unless you really want credit in college for spanish. And still, you're probably going to take AP Spanish lit next year. Am I correct?

No, my school does not offer AP literature. I would be taking just Spanish 5, which would be a non-AP lit course. That is one reason I was considering re-taking AP.

Keep your AP status, don't send the score to the college. Problem solved. It's kinda stupid to lower your own class level because you did poorly on AP tests. It's like wasted time and effort. Don't ever do that. Inflation?? Who cares? College admission officers know that in some instances, students do poorly on the AP test because of many outside influences. Oh, and the curve for AP spanish lang is very forgiving. Who knows? you might even get a 3.

^^ I agree. Plenty of people have thought they were going to fail and ended up passing. Wait until you get your scores before making decisions.
