Very low UW GPA but much higher UC GPA?

<p>im wondering... what gpa do uc schools like ucla and berkeley care about more, uc gpa or uw gpa? my uw gpa is only 3.3, while my uc gpa is 4.0 (capped). will my uc gpa (which apparently is a little bit below average for berkeley and ucla) be able to save me from my low uw gpa? also, what are my chances of acceptance into ucla and uc berkeley if i have a 2250 and decent ecs/essay (im oos)?</p>
