low uw gpa but much higher UC gpa?

<p>i have a 3.3 UW gpa, but my uncapped UC gpa is much higher, a 4.0. does UCB and the other UCs mostly look at UW gpa or UC gpa? the reason for such a huge difference between my uw and uc gpas is because i took a lot of ap classes sophomore and junior year, while getting mid to high Bs and one A in them (my school has an extremely cutthroat ap program, in which the vast majority of students get 5s on ap exams). </p>

<p>also, how are my chances for berkeley and ucla if i have a 2240/1470, 5s on chem, bio, calc, psych, english lang, 800s on mathiic and chem, and slightly above average ECs/essay? i'm OOS and i don't need any FA btw</p>

<p>They look at UC GPA. Your SAT’s are really good. I don’t know if you’re going to get in because of OOS. But they’ve been accepting a lot more, so you have a decent shot.</p>
