I was just wondering a few things about becoming a veternarian:

I know it’s about as hard as med school, but is it harder? Or is it slightly easier?

What are the best schools in the country? For in-state, is OSU considered a good vet school?

3.What are the pre-vet requirements? I’m having trouble finding these.

4.Would you reccomend the small LAC or the mid size uni for pre-vet? If they don’t list a pre-vet pre-professional program, but they do have pre-med, can I still be a pre-vet student?

I would think that it's harder since you have to know how to treat all the different kinds of animals.

Cornell, UC Davis, and Colorado State are usually the top 3. I don't know about Ohio State.

I think they're basically the same as pre-med and most vet students were biology or animal science majors.

I don't know any specific good ones, but you could get bio anywhere. One thing that I was told when I was considering becoming a vet was that it's actually harder to get into vet school since there are only 28 accredited ones around the country, rather than hundreds of med schools. Just something to keep in mind.

I believe the top three veterinary schools now are at Cornell, Colorado State U, and University of Pennsylvania.

I thought Washington State was really good for DVM too..
