I will be a freshmen in Fall 2015, so I need some advices in choosing dorms.
- Which village is better: North or South?
I’m asking because I want to live in a village that is close (to academic buildings), “new” (in terms of dorms/suites & surrounding buildings), and more united (with other freshmen).
- Which dorms should I go for?
My choices were in this order: Scott (1 Bedroom/2 Person), Moore (1 Bedroom/2 Person), Witherspoon (2 Bedroom/4 Person Suite), Laurel (2 Bedroom/4 Person Suite), Oak (2 Bedroom/4 Person Suite), and Laurel (4 Bedroom/4 Person Suite)
But, here’s the thing… I’m OCD and I hate the thought of sharing bathrooms with 23 other girls for Scott and Moore! Even though I’m OCD, I still prefer a suite with 3 other girls. I chose Scott & Moore for the purpose of money-restraints. I’m not the richest, so I cannot afford the expensive dorms. My FAFSA might give me like $5,750, but with the refund check I would have to pay the leftover plus I need to pay for a meal plan…
So, basically I just need like an ideal list… I heard that Scott and Moore is not worth it since the bathroom sucks, but it’s cheap… I don’t know… I’m stuck!
- Can someone explain how the bus-thing works? Do I have to pay (even though I'm attending)? What is the time schedule lay-out for it?
As sad as it sounds… I have never rode a city bus before, so I am not sure how to “use-it”…
Sorry for being complicated!
