Freshmen Dorms :]

Hey guys,
I was wondering about the freshmen housing at Georgetown. I know that some dorms, i.e. Darnall, are pretty sucky. But what about New South in particular? I think I would prefer the more social atmosphere that NS has to offer, so how are the rooms in that building? Largish, or more of a medium size? Also, is Village C really worth the private bathroom?

Anything you guys have to say would be helpful! Thanks!!

New South has the biggest freshman rooms. They are the same size as VCW’s, but without a bathroom taking up a good portion of the room. NS > VCW, however, you don’t get to pick your freshman dorm.

VCW rooms are definitely small but I loved having my own bathroom. We bunked our beds and it seemed bigger but a lot of people didn’t either (my roommate voluntarily took the top bunk all year so that may be one reason I didn’t hate it). I’ve never been in New South besides at orientation but they do have a sink/mirror in the room which is nice to get ready without a bathroom.
