showed lots of interest, visited and went to college rep meeting at my school. also wrote my villanova essay about the struggles of being a female in stem. kinda disappointed about this one because it was my #1 after i got deferred from michigan. congrats to everyone who got in though & hoping for good news in april!

Does anyone know if Nova is telling people in their admission notice today if they received any merit scholarship money or is that all done through the Presidential/St Augustine scholarship application process?

DD got in.

Not that we expect scholarship money, but one can wish. Just curious about process/notification.

I have been following Villanova for years. Because they added ED I am not surprised that so many of you were deferred with really strong stats. But it makes sense because I think since you weren’t ready to commit back in October and others were that they will now have you compete with the RD crowd. (If you saw the ED round results, you probably saw that there were some kids with lower stats than those of you that were deferred were accepted.)

I do think Villanova is very fair during RD and you all still stand a good chance with those stats. Good luck to you all.

Also, if you were legacy and deferred EA I am pretty sure they wanted legacies to apply during the ED round if they wanted the bump for being legacy. I thought I read this on their website. Doesn’t mean you won’t get in RD. I think in the past before they had ED it was the other way around (EA helped during RD).

Dd said they will be notified at a later date.
