Although my transcript was processed on 11/12, Villanova assured me that they were 1 month behind on mail, as of 11/5, and that if you were missing things on 12/5, they would send you a letter.

I got an e-mail that my app was incomplete. Luckily, I could fix it ASAP -- with a little help from FedEx overnight and $15. ;)

Hi guys, I was wondering if you could help me. I applied early action to villanova for liberal arts.

I took the most rigorous courses available (AP and honors)

GPA: 3.85
Rank:35/305
ACT: 26

tutor 2 elementary school children
National ranked soccer team
V Soccer - Letter/MVP
lacrosse
hold positions on NHS, FLHS, Student Government
Volunteer at a hospital
raised almost 1000$ for a charity
babysit for a special needs child
bring food to homeless people
Peer Mediator in my highschool

What are my chances of getting in- I know my ACT scores are a little low but im hoping my activites would help.

Your activities will help you for sure, but your ACT will probably hurt you for EA. But that just means that you will be deferred to regular decision. Have you talked to the Villanova soccer coach to see if he/she can provide any support?

does anyone know if the ea decisions will be posted online first or if we will find out in the mail first? i know the website says by dec. 20th, so do you think that means that is when things will be postmarked/put on the website?

good to luck to everyone who applied/is applying!

I believe that they will be posted online like last year on the 20th.

what would you guys say the "average" score (ACT or SAT) is for EA?

I know there's surprises all over so don't say you really can't tell... but what does one need to usually have a pretty good chance in EA?

I would love to get a decision before the 20th .. it feels like eternity.

haha no problem, yeah i know what you mean for sure

14 days until decisions are posted!

My son was told he would be informed on 12/11. Not sure how reliable that info is.

It may very well be true. My friend who was accepted last year checked for the heck of it on the 18th and it was posted already!
