I was given a 3,000 dollar scholarship from Villanova and a 3,500 dollar scholarship from Rutgers (I am also an in-state student)</p>

<p>With those scholarships and no financial aid Villanova would cost about $100,000 more than Rutgers. Thats a huge chunk of change.</p>
<p>if you want to go to med school, rutgers would be much more logical because you’d be saving all that money that will go towards med school anyways.</p>
<p>thanks so much, but i am still kind of torn. Would it be worth the extra money to go to Villanova for reasons such as name? Or is there really not so much of a difference? Also, is being in the honors program at rutgers more prestigious in any way than that of villanova?</p>
<p>well honestly the most important things about wanting to go to med school are your gpa, your mcat scores, and having the pre-requisite classes.</p>
